In the blue light of night, Mike and Veronica cross paths. Then again. And again. Over the course of a year, Mike, a janitor escaping into the night with his telescope for a moments escape, finds himself befriending Veronica, a stubborn and witty astronomer. Two individuals from seemingly two different worlds in the 1990s form an unlikely friendship and find themselves with more in common than they realized. In some ways these two compliment one another like in the similar color palette they each wear. Whereas in other ways they differ greatly, like with Mike's utilitarian style against Veronica's crisp work attire. The contrast between these two is great, but there is always a piece of them that connects to the other.
